Keeda is a contemporary artist known for her evocative oil and acrylic paintings that explore the interplay between nature and human experience. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the College of Fine Arts, Chung-Ang University in 1998, followed by further studies at Alberta State University School of Art in 2003.

Keeda’s artistic journey began in childhood, inspired by her love for drawing with sticks on the floor. Her work often features themes of transformation, depicting nature and people evolving into three-dimensional forms and waves. This unique approach is influenced by the artistic legacies of figures such as Edward Hopper, Gauguin, and Van Gogh, as well as her grandfather.

Her exhibition history includes a notable solo exhibition at the Kyunghyang Newspaper Art Museum in 2006, along with significant shows at the Gangwon Cultural Arts Center, GALLERY KUNSTDOC, GALLERY CHANG, and the Harcourt Art Center in Edmonton, Canada.

Looking ahead, Keeda is excited to present her upcoming solo exhibition at Detour Gallery in October 2024. Driven by her artistic goals, she aims to create beautiful works that resonate with others, sharing the joy of her paintings through annual exhibitions and new projects.
