This series is called “SWEET ABYSS’. It was inspired by a song written by a Cuban song artist named SILVIO RODRIGUEZ. This song speaks of resignation and love which is what inspired me. The artist speaks of how he had to leave the love of his life behind and go on a long journey. I myself went through a particular experience in my life and through his music I found my passion for my art, something I had long left behind together with other things in my life. Due to my afflictions, my love for art was re-borne, after trying to escape from the pain and loneliness. Through my art I was able to find inner peace and comfort, it also brought me to a deep subconscious level where I was forced to face my true self and I was able to learn valuable information about my own personality. Something that helped me know and understand myself in a way that I was able to partially and positively correct. This level of my subconscious is what I like to call “THE SWEET ABYSS….”
