Hello There,
My name is Victoria Steel, and I would like to introduce myself to you all. I am extremely honored to announce that I am taking over the position of Gallery Director of Detour Gallery.
As some of you may have read in our last newsletter, Rune Egenes will be leaving us at the end of this month (April 2021) to head back to his homeland of Norway. Rune has been an integral part of the gallery and local arts community since the very beginning of the Detour Project. Stepping into his shoes will surely be a challenge.
I am very excited to meet you all in this digital space, and I hope to meet some of you in the real world one day..... at Detour Gallery! Our gallery is open to the public by appointment only, and due to obvious circumstances revolving around the Covid-19 pandemic, exhibition openings will also be scheduled by appointment until further notice. In the meantime, feel free to drop a note, introduce yourself, and say hello!
