It is with great excitement that we introduce to you our next exhibit, Duplicitous, featuring works by Julia Rivera. Not only is Julia an essential member of the Detour Gallery team, but behind her humble nature lies an extraordinarily talented artist and accomplished expert in art restoration. Duplicitous will feature new thought-provoking sculptures and paintings created in response to the current complex state of affairs in our country. For Julia, Duplicitous highlights the need for honest work. Honesty has a beautiful and refreshing simplicity about it; it has neither ulterior motives nor hidden meanings. When honesty and real integrity characterize our lives, there is no need for manipulation or duplicity.
